Mumbai is famously known across the nation as the city that never sleeps. A bustling metropolitan, where the daily routine of life never pauses even for a moment and time is considered more precious than money. This city knows how to keep locals as well as visitors busy with its myriad of recreational as well as educational options.

A city located along the sea, and the commercial and trading hub of India, Mumbai offers activities, tours and places for everybody who would like to take the time to explore it.

Mumbai faces tropical climate and is thus best visited between October and March, when the heat and humidity are not very intense. Monsoon months are to be avoided as Mumbai faces heavy rains and the streets are often flooded due to water clogging.

High Street Phoenix is a high end mall where one can satisfy all their luxury shopping requirements.

Other than this, Mumbai is also famous for its street shopping. Local businesses and handicrafts can be found in many locations and one can simply do a little window shopping while going about their daily routine. Famous markets in Mumbai include Linking Road, Fashion Street and Colaba Causeway.

Mumbai is famous for its street food, which includes our favourite delicacies such as sev puri, vada pav, pani puri and pav bhaji. The street food at every corner of Mumbai is worth sampling, although one especially must try the pav bhaji near Mumbai Central Station, the kebabs in Mohammad Ali Road, the vada pav near Mithabai College, the bhel puri and smoothies and juices at Chowpatty Beach.

High end restaurants and pubs are also plenty in Mumbai especially in the southern area, such as the Colaba Causeway. A trip is Mumbai is incomplete without viewing it as the birthplace of our beloved Bollywood. The Dadasaheb Phalke Film City, a collection of studios and sceneries, where hundreds of films are written, shot and edited each year. Tours are available throughout the Film City for a minimal fee and one can actually have a feeling of being a part of many of the films they grew up watching. These tours are guided and thoroughly detailed, thus being informative as well as exciting.
