1. Surkhanda Devi Temple

This place comes as a trekkers paradise. Although the trek terrain is tough, but the views are mighty and majestic.

It is situated 8-km from Dhanaulti and forms a trek of two kilometre form Kudu Khal village where this Surkhanda temple is situated. This temple is one among the key shaktipeeth temples and its name suggests that the goddess has been staying here for the sake of happiness of her followers.

2. Eco Park

A panoramic view of the hills around invites you to view this beautiful paradise which has been developed by the Forest Department of Uttarakhand. Its divided into two parts, Amber which means sky and Dhara which means earth and both are situated at a distance of 200 metre from each other. There are a few endangered aerial species in this park surrounded by Deodars trees. Sunset and sunrise views could be amazing here as the skies get covered by multiple shades. Those looking for adrenaline rush could experience flying fox, rock climbing and sky walking. Tourists of all age can come and relax here in this park.

3. Potato Farm

If you are keen to explore nature in its most raw formats, then you should visit this place also called as Aloo haat which is spread on different strips of lands. While some are owned by government authorities the others are owned by private owners.  Those with a rustic heart would be happy to see the beautiful strips here. You can also take a walk here. Also enjoy an amazing view of the Doon Valley from this site.

4. The Thangdhar Camp

It makes one among the best adventure camps in the area. Also the sightseeing is amazing from here. Situated at a distance of 14 km from the main market, it is situated at a height of 8300 feet. The tall pine and deodar trees run along the road and makes way for a gracious sightseeing service.

5. Apple Orchard Resort

If you are inquisitive to see the best of the apple variety being grown at one place, you should visit the Apple Orchard Resort which is meant for all fresh fruit fanatics. You will be delighted to see the wide variety of apple being cultivated here. Those who want to buy their favourite variety are also allowed to do the same.

Dhanaulti is located on the Mussoorie-Chamba road and is easy to access from Delhi by road. Emerging fast as a weekend option, it is thronged by many tourists who find it quieter and less crowded than other popular hill stations in Uttarakhand.
