famous beach is situated at the end of Marine Drive, at the foot of Malabar
Hill. Chowpatty beach is the venue of many religious, political and social

ceremony and Nariel Purnima is celebrated here. The idols of Lord Ganesh is
immersed here on the concluding day of 'Ganesh Chaturthi.' Chowpatty beach
gives a deserted look during the daytime, while in the evening it virtually
turns into a fair ground as children can be seen screaming on Ferris wheels
or taking pony rides, astrologers, snake charmers, monkey shows and self
-styled gymnast demonstrating amazing yogic postures. The beach also gets
lined with stalls selling 'Bhelpuri', 'Ice-cream' and 'Paan'.
Juhu Beach
