Ingredients

1.500 grams raw mangoes,
2.2 teacups while vinegar.
3. 250 grams sugar.
4.12 flakes garlic.

5.1 tblsp, each of salt, chilli powder, cumin seeds and black onion seeds.
6. 4 cloves. 2 bay leaves.
7. ½ - inch piece cinnamon stick, broken into bits.

Method

1.Peel and slice the mangoes into small pieces.

2. Rub them with salt and set aside for 2 hours. Bring a pan of water to a boil, put in the pieces of mangoes and boil for 1 minute.

3. Set the mangoes aside to cool. Melt sugar in vinegar and pour in a jar. Drain out the mangoes and put into the vinegar along with the rest of the ingredients.

4. Set the jar aside for 1 day. The pickle can be eaten the next day. It lasts for about 15 to 20 days.
