Manesar, in last few years, has almost become synonymous to Maruti due to the presence of manufacturing unit of Maruti Udyog plant here.

Sultanpur Birds sanctuary has emerged as a famous picnic spot for local residents. The setting up of different towers help to see the birds with ease. 3. Mata Sheetala Devi Temple

This renowned temple is situated in the suburb of Gurgaon and is devoted to Mata Sheetala Devi. A huge crowd of devotees could be seen here during the months of Navratri. However, the temple is thronged by large number of devotees throughout the year. The Chairta month as per Hindu calendar which falls in the month of March and April are the best time to visit here as a special festival is celebrated here on this occasion.

4. Sohna

You will be surprised to see the sulphur springs at stretch of route on the main Gurgaon-Alwar road. It is believed that the water here in the kund has special medicinal property and hence a large number of patients’ throng here to get their disease cured. Basically, it is the skin diseases, rheumatism and gout which get its cure over here. The temperature of the water remains between 46 degrees Celsius and 51 degrees Celsius.

There are many religious sentiments attached to this kund and it is considered sacred too. Many Hindus visit this kind during solar and lunar eclipse as well as on Somavati Amavasya.
