Baga Beach

10 kms west of Mapusa, Baga beach is originally an extension of Calangute
beach and it is hard to identify where the one ends and other begins. Only
difference between these two, is that this beach is more varied and
picturesque than Calangute. This calm beach is the perfect place for
watching the sun setting in little isolation.
Calangute Beach
Most famous among the Goa Beaches Guide, Calangute is located nearby Panaji. The
favourite haunt of hippies during the 70's and 80's, Calangute is now the
busiest and most commercialized beach resort of Goa. Major attractions of
this beach include the food and trinket stalls. Despite the crowds and

Dona Paula
This former fishing village is located 7 kms away from Panjim. Nestled on
the south of the hammer-shaped headland, Dona Paula is the place where Zuari
and Mandovi estuaries meet the Arabian Sea. Dona Paula beach offers a
splendid view of the Marmagoa Harbour. Today a commercialized beach resort,
Dauna Paula is ideal to relax and sunbathe.
Colva and Benaulim Beaches
Situated
20 kms away from Panaji, Colva and Benaulim beaches, Guide to Beaches of Goa offer some respite from
the crowded beaches of Goa. With 20 km long stretch of sands, Colva beach is
the longest beach in Goa. Being jellyfish-free, the sea is safe here for
swimming. Beach stalls on Colva beach offer various culinary delights of the

Vagator and Chapora Beaches
Barely a couple of kms away from Anjuna and 20 kms from Panaji, Vagator and
Chapora beaches are quite and restful. Vagator and Chapora is a cool rural
area, without any big shopping complexes. The nearby Portuguese fort is the
major attraction here.
Bogmolo Beach
A small-scale beach resort, Bogmolo beach is one of the most popular
beaches of Goa. Dotted with many eating joints and stalls, the beach offers
traditional Goan food and souvenirs.
Palolem Beach
Beaches guide of Goa India and it located in South Goa, Palolem beach a favourite beach destination in the
state. Lined by swaying curtain of coconut palms the beach is also called
the Paradise beach. One can spot the Dolphins swimming in the Arabian sea.
